Rebecca Helie, CNM

Rebecca Helie is a Board-Certified Nurse Midwife. After graduating from Brigham Young University-Idaho and earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Rebecca began her career as a labor and delivery RN in a busy, rural hospital setting. Her nursing experience inspired her to create long-term relationships with her patients and to promote physiologic birth through midwifery.
Since earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, Rebecca has made it her personal and professional mission to expand access to midwifery care in order to narrow health disparities, decrease the low-risk cesarean delivery rate, and reduce severe, preventable maternal events through high-quality, patient-centered care.
Rebecca ensures her patients always feel educated and empowered in every encounter. She prioritizes the importance of a shared role in patient health. She has additional training in perinatal mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, and loves helping new moms through the often-difficult perinatal period. Her own long-time experience with infertility and loss empowers her to be a strong advocate for the experiences of her patients. Rebecca's unique interests include using social media to disperse free, quality, evidence-based women's health information.
Originally from Las Vegas, NV, desert-raised Rebecca is thrilled to experience the charm and comfort of the South. In her time outside of the office, she manages her Instagram account, supports her pilot husband, and enjoys their sweet daughter. Together they are active in their church, love exploring family-friendly activities and restaurants, and care for their dog Buddy.
Rebecca is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board, is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, a member of Postpartum Support International, and is an educational affiliate of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
