Nada Megally, MD
Dr. Nada Megally is excited to return to her home state of Georgia after completing her medical training. Originally from Egypt, Dr. Megally lived on three different continents by the age of 11. Her family settled in Macon, Georgia where she grew up with her parents and brother. Proud to follow in her late father’s footsteps, Dr. Megally pursued an education in medicine and is honored to continue the medical tradition of her family. Dr. Megally is passionate and ecstatic to return to Atlanta where she will be able to serve her community and care for patients and all their medical needs. She is fluent in Arabic and enjoys meeting people from all walks of life.
Dr. Megally received her medical school training at Mercer University in Savannah. She completed her residency training at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. During her training, Dr. Megally exhibited her passion for teaching and was the recipient of the Golden Apple Clinical Preceptor Excellence in Teaching Award for three consecutive years. She is excited to bring that passion for sharing knowledge to her patient care. Dr. Megally is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
During her medical training she was also selected to join the Healing Hands Project, a mission trip to Guatemala, where she performed an array of gynecological surgery for underserved women. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and is a robotically trained gynecologist. Dr. Megally also has previous experience living in Atlanta having worked as a research analyst at the CDC prior to medical school.
She is very excited to return to the Atlanta area where she will be close to family and friends. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, exercising and spending time with friends, family and her dog.
