Kera Njenga, WHNP
As a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Kera Njenga is dedicated to fostering trust, compassion, and open communication with every patient she serves. She believes the best healthcare outcomes are achieved when patients feel informed, respected, and empowered as active partners in their care.
Kera began her academic journey at Bowie State University, where she completed her undergraduate studies, and later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. Her path to advanced practice was shaped by years of hands-on experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse, where she developed a deep appreciation for patient advocacy and the impact of compassionate, evidence-based care. Those formative experiences continue to guide her approach today - creating a safe, supportive environment where women feel confident navigating their health at every stage of life.
In her practice, Kera blends evidence-based medicine with a highly personalized approach. She provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including annual exams and Pap smears, as well as routine obstetric care for expectant mothers. She also has extensive experience in contraceptive counseling and management.
Outside of work, Kera enjoys staying active with indoor cycling and exploring local parks with her family.
