Whitney Cook, MD, FACOG
Dr. Whitney Cook is a board-certified OB/GYN who combines medical expertise with a deep commitment to supporting women through all phases of life. A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, she's proud to serve the community where she grew up. She attended Taylor Road Middle School and Chattahoochee High School before earning her degree in Chemistry with a minor in French from Emory University. She went on to complete both her medical degree and OB/GYN residency at Mercer University in Macon, where she was selected as Administrative Chief Resident and honored with the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Cook provides full spectrum care for women at every stage of life - from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Her services include well-woman visits, PCOS, infertility, pregnancy care (including high-risk obstetrics), contraceptive counseling, and minimally invasive surgery for conditions like fibroids and heavy bleeding. She also has a special focus in adolescent gynecology, menopausal care and hormone therapy, and sexual health and wellness.
Known for her warm and approachable style, Dr. Cook strives to create a safe, judgment-free space where women can ask questions, share concerns, and feel truly supported. Her care philosophy centers on building strong relationships with patients and providing personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual.
When she's not in the office, Dr. Cook is often off the beaten path - literally. She and her husband are avid adventurers who enjoy hiking, kayaking, scuba diving, and exploring new corners of the world. At home, they're kept on their toes by their two dogs: Norman, a judgmental Welsh Corgi with short legs and a long list of opinions, and Marty McFly, a rescue chihuahua mix with a flair for drama.
