Shelley Zippay, MD
Dr. Shelley Zippay is a native of Johns Creek and thrilled to return home. After graduating from Northview High School, she attended Vanderbilt University where she majored in Neuroscience and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She received her Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Continuing her tour of the Southeast, she completed her Ob/Gyn residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.
She received the Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics from the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine in her senior year of residency.
In addition to academic awards, Dr. Zippay has been formally recognized for her compassionate patient care. She received the esteemed patient-nominated Guardian Angel award for her advocacy and outstanding patient care. Dr. Zippay is trained in the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology with a particular interest in robotic gynecologic surgery and high-risk obstetrics.
Outside of work, Dr. Zippay enjoys going to the movies, playing tennis, spending time with her husband and friends, and spoiling her dog and cat.
