Skyler Jacobs, CNM

Skyler Jacobs is a Certified Nurse Midwife who is passionate about supporting women across their lifespan. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Science Cum Laude with a double major in Medicine, Health & Society and Child Development from Vanderbilt University where she also competed as a Division 1 athlete on the track and field team. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Nurse Midwifery at Vanderbilt's School of Nursing. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Skyler provides patient-centered gynecological care, birth control counseling and procedures, prenatal and postpartum care, and has had the pleasure to attend to hundreds of women in childbirth. She was drawn to the field of midwifery for its capacity to support women of all ages across the lifespan. As women experience some of life's most significant transitions, Skyler sees it as an honor to walk alongside women during these times, educating, empowering, and being a trusted partner in decision making. Skyler also has extensive experience in breastfeeding support and maintains a Baby Friendly Provider certification. Skyler's goal is to meet women where they are with empathetic care that reflects patients' desires within the context of safe professional care.
Skyler is dedicated to providing evidence-based, individualized, patient-centered care. In her free time, Skyler loves to travel with her husband, exercise in all different forms, try new recipes, and cheer on the Commodores!
