Skyler Jacobs, CNM
Skyler Jacobs is a certified nurse-midwife who is passionate about supporting women across their lifespan. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Science Cum Laude with a double major in Medicine, Health & Society and Child Development from Vanderbilt University where she also competed as a Division 1 athlete on the track and field team. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Nurse Midwifery at Vanderbilt's School of Nursing. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Skyler provides patient-centered gynecological care, birth control counseling and procedures, prenatal and postpartum care, and has had the pleasure to attend to hundreds of women in childbirth. Skyler sees it as an honor to walk alongside her patients during some of life's most significant transitions providing empowering education and being a trusted partner in decision making. Skyler has extensive experience in physiological birth with an emphasis on optimal positioning for babies in effort to prevent primary cesareans. She also has experience in breastfeeding support and maintains a Baby Friendly Provider certification. Skyler's goal is to meet women where they are with empathetic care that reflects patients' desires within the context of safety.
In her free time, Skyler loves to travel and spend time with her husband and son, Stetson! She additionally loves providing evidence-based education on her blog and social media channels, Well and Worthy Co.
