Jennifer Smith, CNM
Jennifer Smith earned her bachelor's degree in history and anthropology from the University of Georgia. She began pursuing a master's degree in anthropology when she discovered her true passion - childbirth. She spent three years as a labor and delivery nurse and also worked as a childbirth educator. During this time, she felt drawn to support women more deeply throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
Jennifer went on to Emory University, where she earned her master's degree and became a Certified Nurse Midwife. For more than 20 years, she has delivered babies across her home state of Georgia. She stopped counting her deliveries when she reached 1,500 babies. In addition to maternity care, she has a deep dedication for the gynecologic aspects of women's health and values caring for women across the full spectrum of their lives. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Jennifer is married and has two children and two cats. Outside of her midwifery work, she enjoys literature, theater, and podcasts.
