Tina Lu, MD, MPH
Dr. Tina Lu is excited to settle in the suburbs of Atlanta and be closer to her family. Dr. Lu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and studied biomedical engineering as an undergraduate and received her Master's in Public Health at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Lu graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency training at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. During this time, Dr. Lu developed an interest in minimally invasive surgery and engaged in studies focused on the use of spinal morphine injection for pain control for laparoscopic hysterectomies. The Society of Gynecologic Oncology named Dr. Lu an Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Lu provides high-quality, compassionate care to all her patients and enjoys participating in community outreach. Dr. Lu cares for the full scope of obstetrics and gynecologic needs and is skilled as a da Vinci robotic surgeon.
In her spare time, Dr. Lu loves to travel the world and enjoy authentic cuisines. She also enjoys hiking, playing the piano, or just lounging with her cat.
